I’m sure the reptilian fearing folks will have a field day with that one (78h). For the record, the impression I get is that the ancient people saw the “gods” as controlling mankind, most likely due to the fact that slavery was instituted by kingship and kingship was said to be brought down from the heavens. Therefore, enslavement of humanity was due to the influence of the gods, and this was reinforced by the kingship and their mythologies and claims. Men were made to mine gold for the kings, since the times of Sumer, and this kingship had created quite a harsh situation for many people all over the world. |
