Now Constable, like everyone else, we will soon learn, was not immune to false information completely, but I do feel like he did learn to separate most of the fact from fiction, and not only that, was able to bring the channel through clear enough to gain proper “perspective” which is a most important quality to have, in knowing something. Constable’s communications presented the following ideas to him:

    1. UFOs are spaceships, but their vibratory makeup is not fixed in the physical-material density. They are mutants.
    2. UFOs have their main existence in a density that is invisible to human beings of normal vision.
    3. The intelligences behind the spaceships are various orders of etheric beings, that is, beings differently constituted to man and normally invisible to him, yet capable of materializing at will when necessary or required.
    4. A war is in progress for the control of the mind of man, a veritable battle of the earth that will determine the future course of evolution.
    5. There are negative forces from beneath man seeking to drag him down and positive forces assisting him to fulfil his destiny in freedom.
6.) There are normally-invisible living beings in space that are not spaceships.
7.) Space is filled with primitive energy currents of which existing earth science knows nothing.
8.) Infrared film, exposed between dawn and sunrise in high, dry locales will frequently objectify invisible objects of various kinds living in and passing through the atmosphere. (9)

At this point, I will say I agree with all of this except perhaps, numbers four and five. I think this is a projection from Constable’s mind which was reinforced on him by the UFO intelligences, but I will explain more on that shortly. My reasoning is partially based though on this next statement made by Constable in The Cosmic Pulse of Life: “Communication seemed to require either that the human being surrender in some way the function of his organism to beings that he could not see, or that new devices for manipulating the primitive energy of which these beings spoke, would have to be designed.” (10)

We can never be fully sure, with what is communicated through channeling, if it is to be trusted, or what the angle or agenda might be. In the etheric world, where physical matter is not an issue, is there pain or death, or feelings, even? What matter is it to these etheric entities, what happens on the physical earth? If it is a matter to them, then they are intimately connected with this earth somehow. But then we must ask ourselves, “does it benefit them, regardless of whether or not they experience death or feelings even, to promote that “good guy”/ “bad guy” scenario onto our imaginations in order to guide us to an intended place in our consciousness? Would we ever fight for anything if we didn’t believe the struggle was a real one? Who is to say? The conclusion I have come to, is that we are dealing with practical jokers and jokers must not be taken

too seriously, when they tell you something. I have studied dozens of contactee channeling materials and every single one of them has turned out to predict things that were not true, did not come to pass, or promoted quasi-religious material with mentions of Jesus as a real entity and how he was to return, though, in a UFO, or even more dramatic, predicted mass cataclysms and catastrophes. Gordon Michael Scallion used to predict California was going to sink into the ocean by the year 2000. (11)

Returning to Constable’s experiences and observations, he continues: “The existence of these organisms seems to be essentially plasmatic, i.e., having their form expressed in heat substance. They travel in pulsatory fashion, swelling and shrinking cyclically as they move through the air, much as we pulsate with our heartbeat and swell and shrink with our lung movements. They are spheroidal, and therefore often look like disks.” Constable noticed that these plasmoid “skyfish,” as he likes to call them, were different than man made spacecraft. (12)

Over the years, Constable refined his photographic techniques and acquired a small library of infrared photographs, some of them quite extraordinary: “On one occasion I made two successive photographs of a large, serpentine creature, essentially transparent even to infrared, curling around near the telephone pole seen in other photographs made at this site. This etheric monster had his head curled around toward me, and in one exposure I was photographing through perhaps six or eight feet of his body laying directly behind his head. This made him dense enough to register on the high-speed infrared film.” (13)

Next, in his book, Constable introduces Meade Layne, the founder of Borderlands Research. In 1950, Meade Layne published a monograph titled The Ether Ship Mystery and Its Solution. The next paragraphs are extracted from this publication. Meade Layne was instrumental in helping Constable understand better the phenomenon he was photographing: “The aeroforms are thought-constructs, mind constructs. As such, they are, in effect, the vehicle of the actual entity that creates them. Just as our own terrestrial minds rule and become identified with our bodies, so does the entity of the Etheric world make for himself a body or vehicle out of etheric substance.
