    Manson and the Monarch Assassins

For years now, one of the main components of mind control is a branch known as “Monarch Mind Control.” This particular branch deals with the ability of a programmer or controller to create hypnotic triggers inside the mind of the individual, which, when used can call up “altars” or “multiple personalities” which are then used to carry out murders and assassinations. If the targeted individual is given a lie detector test, and asked whether or not they committed the crime, there would be no indications given that they had any awareness they had been involved in anything criminal or even murderous. John Marks first revealed this in his book, The Search for the Manchurian Candidate, in 1979. Researchers speculate that many lone assassins like Sirhan Sirhan, Jack Ruby and Mark Chapman were all “Manchurian Candidates.”

The premise of this mind control mechanism works this way: a child is traumatized at an early age. This child then creates multiple personalities in order to deal with the trauma. These are called “altars” and may be “called up” with sounds, voice commands or possibly frequencies. These “altars” are raised up by the programmer or controller and the person has been “programmed.”

In Marks’ book, we learned how James Moore received a $2000 grant from the Geschickter Foundation to travel with Wasson to Mexico in 1956. Just one year prior, in 1955, Louis Jolyon West, received a grant from the Geschickter Foundation for Medical Research, the same year he came to the University of Oklahoma. Marks, in Manchurian Candidate also, mentions West’s role as being a recipient of MK-Ultra directives in regards to the work with LSD. (67)

Dr. Louis Jolyon West, the head of psychiatric services at the Lackland Air Force Base was involved in the MK-Ultra projects. West’s contact in the MK-Ultra project was Sidney Gottleib. Jimmy Shaver, an airman at the base with no prior history of violence, had been found covered in blood wandering around an area where a 3 year old girl had been kidnapped and raped. The witnesses described him in a “dazed” and “trace-like state.” Shaver maintained he had no memory of the incident, and maintained his innocence the entire time, but regardless, on his 33rd birthday, following two trials, he was executed by the electric chair. In order to determine if Shaver was sane or not, he spent two weeks under the supervision of Dr. West.

West had hypnotized Shaver, and injected him with sodium pentothol, a truth serum, and while Shaver was under he recalled the events of that night. Shaver claimed that the girl had reminded him of his cousin, “Beth Rainboat,” who had raped him as a child and Shaver had started drinking alone that evening when he “had visions of God, who whispered into his ear to seek out and kill the evil girl Beth.”

Apparently, Shaver would suffer extreme migraines and dunk his head in the water to relieve himself, and he was chosen for some kind of two-year experimental medical program, while in the army. The doctor who recruited him though, was not named in the court records.

“In 1956, West reported back to the CIA that the experiments he’d begun in 1953 had at last come to fruition. In a 1956 paper titled “The Psychophysiological Studies of Hypnosis and Suggestibility,” he claimed to have achieved the impossible: He knew how to replace “true memories” with “false ones” in human beings without their knowledge. Without detailing specific incidents, he put it in layman’s terms: “It has been found to be feasible to take the memory of a definite event in the life of an individual and, through hypnotic suggestion, bring about the subsequent conscious recall to the effect that this event never actually took place, but that a different (fictional) event actually did occur.” He’d done it, he claimed, by administering “new drugs” effective in “speeding the induction of the hypnotic state and in deepening the trance that can be produced in given subjects.” (68)

The article goes onto say “Acid, he wrote, made people more difficult to hypnotize; it was better to pair hypnosis with long bouts of isolation and sleep deprivation.”

According to Bowart’s Revised Operation Mind Control: “The resume of L. J. West M.D., includes proudly and overtly notes his service to the Tavistock Institute, Center for advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences, US Army (enlisted), U.S. Air Force (officer), Chief, Psychiatry Service, Lackland Air Force Base, Consultant in Psychiatry, USAF Hospitals, Leo J, Ryan Award from the Cult Awareness Network, Examiner American Board of Psychiatry, Advisory Council Behavioral Sciences Div. US Air Force Office of Scientific Research, National Consultant in Psychiatry to the Surgeon General US Air Force, Professional Advisory Council National Association for Mental Health, Consultant US Information Agency (CIA front), Exec. (believed to be covertly CIA funded), Member USA Medical Research and Development Advisory Panel, Consultant VA Health care Committee, National Research Council Division of medical Sciences, and so on for 24 pages ending in a Bibliography, the last entry of which is: A Review of Combating Cult Mind Control. (69)

In his report, West said that “hypnosis and intravenous sodium pentothal were included among possible techniques” to be used on Ruby. (70)
