| The following are cases where the witness claims to have experienced a form of telepathy: * Case #443, November 18. 1957 - Aston, Great Britain. Mrs. Cynthia Appleton, 27, saw a man materialize near a fireplace while a whistling sound was audible. He was tall and fair, wore tight fitting plastic garments, and seemed to communicate with her via telepathy, and indicated he was looking for titanium and came from a world of peace and harmony. Mrs. Appleton continued to have these contacts. (97) * Case #804 – November 2, 1966 – West Virginia – W. Derenberger saw a dark object ahead on the road and stopped the car. He was met by a being who spoke to him in telepathy and the witness describes the message of a hypothetical “other world” and suggested the witness report the incident to the authorities. Other witnesses to the event reported seeing the man speaking to another man and a strange vehicle nearby. (98) * Case #877, September 3, 1967, Venezuela – Paul Valdez was alerted to a whistling sound and saw a small man with a large head who spoke to him and said, “I want you to come with us, so that you’ll know other worlds, and you’ll realize how small your world is.” (99) * Case #351, September 4, 1967, Venezuela – Police Officer P. A. Andrade was on duty at City Hall, heard a noise and met with a dwarf 1m tall with a big head, reddish glowing eyes, and wearing metallic looking overalls. Andrade pointed his machine gun at it but a voice from the hovering disk told him in Spanish not to harm the creature and pleaded with him to come to “their world,” telling him it was “very distant and much larger than Earth, with many advantages for earthlings.” Andrade declined, and the creature flew off in the craft. (100) The following are cases where the UFO occupants shine blue lasers or lights beams: * Case #361, March, 1955 – Branch Hill, Ohio- Robert Hunnicutt saw what looked like three men kneeling by the side of the road. They were 1m tall and had frog-like faces, long slender arms, normal eyes and no eyebrows. One of them held an object that emitted blue flashes of light and he later found himself driving to the police station without remembering what happened. (101) * Case #907, June 1968, Argentina – Pedro Pretzel, 39, a motel owner observed an object 50m away showing two powerful red headlights. He arrived at his room and found his daughter unconscious. When she came to, she claimed a blond man about 2m tall, wearing a blue, bright suit and holding a blue sphere in his hand, had appeared and spoken to her. (102) The following case may have been an experimental US Army saucer, the reasoning being, they were not able to control the electrical discharge, and this was an experiment gone awry. * Case #417, November, 1957, Louisiana. Haskel Raper, Jr. was driving home on a rainy night and saw a large lighted object on the road ahead. The object flashed a beam at his |
car applying a strong pressure and slowing it to a stop 5m away. The object was described as oval, 5m long, 3m high, army green in color with the letters UN followed by some numbers. A sort of heat filled the car and the witness ran out in panic as the vehicle caught fire. The object rose with the sound of a diesel engine and Raper reported the incident. The car, a 1956 Ford, was destroyed by the fire. (103) The following are cases in which the witnesses claim the UFOs were “mushroom shaped”: Though this is no small wonder since there is a similarity in shape between mushrooms and UFOs to begin with. The interesting aspect is how many of them use this same description. * Case #263, October 15, 1954 – Saint-Pierre-Halte (France), a baker, saw a brilliant yellow light descend rapidly and land on railroad tracks. The object was described to be shaped like a mushroom, about 4m in diameter and 2m high. (104) * Case 784, July 31, 1966 – Eerie, Pennsylvania – Young witnesses reported seeing an object shaped like a mushroom flying erratically and landing 300m away. A strange being 1.8m tall was spotted. (105) * Case #819, February 23, 1967, Maryland – Mrs. Weston and Mrs. Rice were talking on the phone and heard a strong sound and a large object was seen flying low over the area. It was shaped like a mushroom that supported a dome with a fin and was greenish in color. (106) * Case #881. September 14, 1967, Brazil – Fabio J. Diniz, 16, was walking near a hospital and saw a mushroom-shaped craft on a playing field. It had a guillotine-like door that slide up. The boy fled but heard a voice telling him not to run away. He then saw two men, 2m tall who told him not to be afraid and to return the next day, “otherwise, we will take your family.” They had greenish skin and round eyes set apart. (107) * Case 848, June 7, 1967, Brazil – A vehicle stalled, and a brilliant, transparent mushroom-shaped object was seen with a cat-faced being aboard.
