West had always denied his involvement with MK-Ultra from the very beginning until the bitter end. O’Neill writes: “Through the seventies, journalists linked West to the CIA’s mind control research program MK-Ultra. He denied all involvement, vigorously attacking anyone who suggested otherwise. He kept up those attacks until his death in 1999.” (80)

There were many drugs being administered and MK-Ultra had 149 subprojects, and some of these were related to programmed assassins, we now call “Super Soldiers.” If you ever hear these people being interviewed revealing their past government involvement and claiming they are whistleblowers, look out. They are still programmed, in all likelihood. The other major area wad the New Age religion of Ancient Aliens and Alien/Government alliances. There may be other aspects to it as well but I think this pretty much covers the most important aspects of MK-Ultra.

It appears that MK-Ultra had several objectives, one of which was to create programmer assassins, another to use science fiction as propaganda. It appears to me that this technology was being developed in order to use aboard “flying saucers” which could be used to either, abduct people and make them believe they are in “contact,” or to fly around and cause the public to believe in their reality, if nothing more. The next question, I suppose we should be asking, is when did the government start developing “the flying saucer,” which might be an impossible question to answer but we can take a closer look. But first, let’s read what Vallee has to add about the government’s ability to “fake consensus reality” during wartime.

    Sci-Fi as Propaganda

“Martians” was first used as a code name by British intelligence during WWII and it had nothing to do with the red planet. It involved a spy industry set up to watch the Germans. They were part of a large espionage group documented in Anthony Brown’s book, A Bodyguard of Lies. At the center of this network was the LCS or London Controlling Section, set up by Churchill. The Chief of this team held the title of “Controller of Deception.” One member of this group was Wing Commander Dennis Wheatley, a student of crime, and a purported expert on black magic and Satanism, as well as the author of fifty books. Other components of this network were one XX Committee (XX standing for the Double-Cross), who “specialized in manufacturing and delivering false intelligence through the enemies own espionage network.” Another part of this group was centered on a group of computer geniuses around information processing theory founder, Alan Turning. This group was responsible for building a machine called “Ultra” which could and did emulate the cryptographic engines of any nation.

The work the Martians did was manipulation of friend and foe alike. They were not working on the usual part of the war at all. Their only purpose was “strategic deception.” They created a secret alliance with the Soviets and the Americans to deceive Hitler and left the Wehrmacht divisions expecting attacks which never were to happen while the Normandy landing was being planned all along. Invasions were faked complete with entire armies deployed that were not real, but instead made of inflatable rubber tanks, while fake tracks were left in the sand. Audio sound of whole armies moving against them were broadcast to the enemy through the thick fog. Electronic radio signals were faked, and other tactics were used to create an entirely false perception of reality for the enemy. (81)

One very important fact to note is they called this machine which could emulate the cryptographic engines of any nation “Ultra,” as in MK-Ultra. This was also the first use of the term “Martians.” This may give us a clue into the real operations of MK-Ultra; to cause the public to believe in “Martians.”

    Disneyland of the Gods

I saved this section on John Keel for this chapter because it relates directly to the previous paragraphs about “electronic mind control.” John Keel has observed that UFOs operate in the electromagnetic spectrum of frequency and light and puts forth the ideas that a tuning into the mind of the observer is occurring while the contactee is within the area of the UFO’s influence.

John Keel is a paranormal investigator who has written a number of great books on strange subjects. I enjoy his writings immensely and have read a number of them. He is most famous for The Mothman Prophecies from 1975, but also wrote a great book on his journeys investigating paranormal material around India and Asia called Jadoo in 1957. His other notable books include Operation Trojan Horse (1970), Strange Creatures From Time and Space (1970), Our Haunted Planet (1971), The Flying Saucer Subculture (1973), The Eighth Tower (1975) and Disneyland of the Gods (1988). It is from the Eighth tower I will take the focus for a short time.

Keel notes in his book that UFOs exhibit a particular frequency variation: “Many reported UFOs first appear as a red blob in the sky, or sometimes as a purple blob. Then they go through a series of changes in the proper order of the spectrum and either solidify into a seemingly solid mechanical object, or they simply fade away into nothingness. The witness is actually viewing the transition, of a mass of energy from the invisible part of the spectrum, across the visible spectrum, and back into the invisible frequencies. The mass is somehow altering its frequencies to make the transition.” (82)
